OMG IM SOOOOO SCARED, THIS HAPPENED SO FAST. I WOKE UP NORMALLY TODAY AND AS THE DAY WENT ON MY THROAT STARTED TO HURT BUT MOSTLY ON ONE SIDE AND I FIGURED ITLL GET BETTER AFTER I EAT AND THEN WHEN IT DIDNT I JUST FIGURED I WAS GETTING A SORE THROAT AND ID PROBABLY GET A COLD BUT MY NECK HAS BEEN FEELING STIFF AND HAS BEEN HURTING FOR A FEW DAYS NOW AND WHEN I CAME HOME I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AND I THINK I JUS HAD A BREAK OUT IN MY THROAT!!!! IT WAS WHITE AND HAD A BUMP ON IT ON THE LEFT SIDE AND ALSO IN OTHER SPOTS AS WELL BUT NOT AS BIG AS THE ONE ON THE LEFT SIDE! I'M SO SCARED BECAUSE I JUST GOT OVER MY FIRST GENITAL OB A WEEK AGO AND I STARTED TO C ANOTHER BREAK OUT AND NOW THIS 1 IN MY MOUTH, WHAT DO I DO ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL RIGHT NOW! I JUS DONT WANT ANYTHING SERIOUS TO HAPPEN AND I CANT AFFORD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR AT THE MOMENT, I JUS WANT TO KNOW MY STOMACH WONT GET HERPES OR ANYTHING I DONT KNOW JUS SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

White spots on your throat can be pus from an infection. Strep, mono, and viral throat infections can all cause this. I get them all the time! (one of the drawbacks to being a teacher. :-?) You really should go to a doctor. For strep or other bacterial infections you really need to be on antibiotics. Without them you can get really really sick and you'd be contagious. :(

it might be but its not white spots its jus certain areas of my throat are white and there is a big bump on the left side a few smaller ones and bumps on the right side as well and i do have GH so i might have oral herpes im not sure but im quite sure it is but i jus want some information on it because i've searched around and havent seemed to find any information on herpes of the throat only on the moth or on the inside of the mouth not on the throat, thanx anywayz

You really need to go see the doctor. I get the same thing on my throat about once a year (usually during the holidays), for me it's a reaction to certain spicys in the food (but I can't figure out which). If you have no insuracnce there are free clinics you can goto, just do a search on free clinics in your area. Good luck.
