Praise God!!! I don't have herpes! Yes, I have HSV1 antibodies in my bloodstream but so does over 90% of the population and they don't get outbreaks in the nether regions! It's staph! 2 days on extreme antibiotics and I'm feeling sooo much better. I just want you to know because I want to encourage everyone who is wrestling with this to NOT GIVE UP! My doctor was so positive it was H that she didn't test me for anything else. When I went in for a second culture, I insisted she test for bacteria as well. If I had to go through the awful process for her to obtain a culture then I wanted to at least rule it out, especially since my husband (who is still not moving back in with me because he can't keep his pants on with other women) had a nasty staph infection on his leg. I had ALL the classic symptoms of herpes but it was something else. If you are new to this whole thing, don't give up, especially now that staph infection is becoming so prevalent. I hope this is an encouragement!

Im very happy for you and i only wish this were the case for many others like myself but i still have not got tested but i am very sure I have HSV2 but if u came out lucky maybe i will too best of luck
