I dont have insurence so Im self diagnosing. I have had a itchy vagina since my period started. I have two cuts around my uretha. They look like little slits. Could this be herpes? Can someone please help?

I know that without insurance and such it must be expensive to go and get tested or treated but come on...this is your health...and when it comes to something like this you can't self-diagnos. Based on your description...yes it could be herpes....but what if there's a chance it's not? You need to be tested for state of mind and for physical health.

I know I should go get tested. But after reading further about all the warning signs I now know that I have it. My first symtoms were about a year ago when I got the "Flu" and a mouth full of ulcers for 3 weeks. I have had cold sores before but that was when I was about 14 and never had another. My ex gf is the one that passed this to me, it was after her that I got these symptoms. I told her that she should go get tested. And she should tell her parteners that she has this. I have a feeling she knew of this condition before getting with me. She doesnt seem to be to concerned with it. Meanwhile Im totally freaking out, but Im also trying to educate myself on the whole issue. I will have to go to a clinic and get tested. Because ur right if it isnt herpes its better to find out then worry myself for the rest of my life. Thank you for all ur input.
