2 Bumps on Penis, Extremely Scared of Herpes!!!!
Question: First of a little background: My last sexual encounter was with my ex girlfriend on Jan. 3rd. We were together for a year, had unprotected sex and never had problems with STD's. After being a part, we hooked up again and nothing has happend since. I have not had any type of encounter since then with anyone. Feb. 13th i woke up and there was a bump on the left side of the head of my penis, It was a bump that was scabbed over. There was no indications of any problems with my genitals prior to that morning. Its maybe a half inch in diameter, its dark red (scab colored) and does NOT hurt. It has not caused any irritation or itching in my genitals, it has not caused painful urination either. No clear fluid came from it or discharge of any type. From the 1st day on it began to heal and each day has gotten smaller and has looked better. So far it is till there but seems to be almost completely healed. Secondly about 2 or 3 days after the bump appeard on the tip of my penis, a small bump appeard on the left side of my penis down the shaft, next to the base. It is very very slightly raised, much smaller of a "bump" than the one on my tip. It is dark red in color, like a scab, but does not appear to have any other types of bumps or anything resembling a cluster of bumps around it, just like the one on my tip. It does not hurt, cause pain, discharge or anything like that. My worry is that I've seen about 1000 different ways to describe herpes and symptoms. I cant help but think this is herpes and its scaring me to death. The worst part is I feel I dont fit most of the typical symptom descriptions but I cant help but think I have herpes. Please any kind of insight is greatly appreciated. Can the blisters break and scab over in the course of one night?? Does this sound like herpes or an std of any type?? Answer: I would get checked out. My general reaction is that it doesn't sound a bit like herpes, both in the time it took to come on and in the description you give. But I am unfamiliar with other STD's and it might be one of the others(?) Anyway, go see doc. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
