Question:
I new to the site, Im 27 years of age and ofcouse contracted H2. I never had a coldsore before. Ive had a blood test in the past twice and it came back negative, then I had a swab culture test, which then it came back postive. :( I may get an OB every 6 months but they are painless! I dont even know that the little bumps are down there until I look or have a little tingling sensation. Is that a such thing as Painless H! please provide me any information. Thank you much

There's a good possibility that you won't have any bad OB. Many people don't even know they have it. So I completely believe that you can have it and not even know it, or just non-severe OB. Infact, I just read a post just like yours where they don't know they have OB until they look down. Good luck on finding out more!

I'm sort of confused as to how the blood test came back negative here...I'm assuming that HSV2 came back negative, and you were positive for HSV1? That would make sense if you're having OBs so infrequently and they are so mild.
