I was recently diagnosed with genital HSV-1. I was treated with Valtrex and I finished the medication. Now I have a bump under each eye lid. I dont know what to do. I know that herpes can cause blindness. What type of doctor should I see? PLEASE HELP!!!thanks

Go to a walk-in clinic, emerg room, your doctor or eye doctor and ask them what to do. You may need a referral to an opthamologist, but I really don't know. Whatever you do, go now, because sooner is always better than later

thanks for the reply. I went to the eye doc and she said that it is just a common allergy that people get in the area that I just moved to so i am very thankful for that. Its crazy how your mind makes you think the worst!!!
