Okay I really want to know what this is..

Question:
Well, a couple months ago they first showed up as little red dots speckled all over the head of my penis. The first noticable symptom was how sensitive they were to the touch, touching them caused a fairly painful burning feeling. I know the girl I've been with has oral HSV-1, is it possible?

Anyways, after a couple days they faded away, I went to a doctor and he told me it wasn't herpes because herpes outbreaks hurt without having to touch and don't dissapear that fast, then he pretty much kicked me out of his office and I left still having no idea what I had.

Since that first time I got them they have come back 3 or 4 times, always going away in a few days or less. I can always tell when they come back because of the sensitivity. They don't appear to be raised, and they are always in the same spot, right on the head. Can someone help me figure out what this is? The doctor sure wasn't very helpful.

Answer:
There is a high probability that if you received "oral sex" from a partner with active "coldsores" that you have obtained genital herpes. You should see a dermatologist or STD Expect to receive a proper diagnosis.

Answer:
they didn't have active coldsores, i just want to know if these sound like symptoms that anyone has had before.

Answer:
I wouldn't worry about HSV1. Your parents probably already have it.

Answer:
i just want to know what the heck it is, and figuring out if its herpes or not would really help me out, whether it's hsv-1 or hsv-1 could someone who has ever had herpes outbreaks tell me if what i had are possible symptoms or not?

Answer:
Yes it is very possible that you contracted hsv from oral sex. There doesnt have to be an active sore in order to pass it. It's not necessarily type 1 either, she could have type 2 orally...both are very contagious and both can live in either spot on the body, mouth or genitals. I have type 1 genitally from my husbands cold sore.

I wouldn't worry about HSV1. Your parents probably already have it. I wasn't concerned about hsv1 and now I have it genitally. People need to worry about both of them. Weather or not your parents have type 1 is irrelevent. Even if they did have it, its possible that you've went your whole life and never been exposed to it, so wouldnt have the antibodies for it. The chances that your partner has type 1 or 2 orally is high. If she's been your only sex partner and you were her only, then it's clear where you got it from, if that wasnt the situation, your guess is as good as the rest of ours as to where you got it. In the end, what type it is doesnt matter..herpes is herpes..one can be just as bad as the other in certain people. Herpes effects each person differently. You need to get to the std clinic and get tested. Get tested when you have an active sore so they can scrape it and do a test on the infection itself.
Goodluck.
