Hi Everyone,
I used to have frequent lip cracks that lasts for days and even upto 1 week. This was since a decade ago. Recently, I had a cold sore with blisters. Someone told me that my frequent lip cracks are actually cold sore recurrences. I cannot see any sore associated with the lip cracks each time. Pls advise why I get lip cracks and are they due to cold sores.

not sure about the lip cracks, but the EXACT same thing happened to my boyfriend, he got a cold sore, we had oral sex, and now I hav sores too.
I wonder whether his frequent lip cracks in the past were due to the type 1 virus.
