Question:
I was diagnosed with Genital herpes about 2 1/2 years ago. I knew before I even got tested for it that that is what it was.How long can you have herpes before you have an outbreak? Is it possible to go from 16 to 19 without ever showing symptoms? Even after accepting the fact that I have Herpes I am still finding it hard to cope with. I feel so damaged and unloved. I feel like Im letting my partner (my Fiance) down. He says he loves me no matter what, but I still don't feel like that is enough. When I feel an outbreak coming on, I don't even want him to touch me and I can't hardly even look at myself. is there anything I can do to ease the discomfort and Embarresment? Any insight would help!

I got to thinking during this past outbreak, What if the guy who gave it to me didn't know? At the time we were sleeping together he was seeing this other girl (seeing not sleeping with) and they ended up getting married not long after I moved out of his place. I feel really awful cause what if he gives it to her. While he can rot in hell, she is a very sweet girl and assuming that their marriage doesn't last it might damage her personality. Im worried but I really don't want to talk to her about it cause I think he lied to her about us being together. or gave her a half truth. God please forgive me. I feel like crying.
