Question:
Hi, I'm 25, male, and really stressed out.

About 2 months ago, I had this wierd outbreak of, what I original worried was possibly genital warts. But I went to an STD clinic, AND a Dr., and they both told me that it was molluscum.. ..it was strictly in my pubic area, not on my penis at all.. ..it is also a virus, but very self-limited, and has little side-effects compared to hpv or herpes. To the advice of the doctor, and several web-sites I visited on Molluscum, I scraped/squeezed them all off, and they healed over in about 2 weeks. This made me very happy. I guess molluscum is very common (most people have it in fact.. ..kinda like oral herpes), it can just show up when a great amount of stress is going on (which I've been experiencing) it's not really an STD per se. Anyway, I didn't seem to have anything to really worry about... ..no remaining bumps.. ..and they have no complications. That was around 2 months ago.

Anyway, about 10 days ago, I ran into an old girlfriend of mine, (from like 6 years ago). We instantly reconnected, and ended up drunk, and (foolishly) in bed together. She assured me that she had a clean bill of health, and I assured her that so did I. So we didn't use a condom by her request (she has her tubes tied.. ..has 3 kids). We had sex many times in the following day as well.. ..and then about 4 days ago, again, pretty roughly too.

So, just today, I noticed these 3 tiny, well-seperated (like, about an inch apart each) bumps along the right side of the shaft of my dick, and a couple in my pubes. They look suspisciously small, just like the molluscum looked (though it wasn't in those places before), so I wouldn't be overly worried, (for myself, anyway.. ..tho I now feel guilty for possibly spreading molluscum to her, when I thought it was healed and gone). But what DOES worry me greatly, is that I've been feeling *really* under the weather lately. Like, achy and fatigued and kinda feverish (although my AC is broken in my blistering hot apartment), and head-achy.

The bumps arent' itchy, and there was no 'red rashiness' initially behind them.. ..but I do feel strange pressure in my lymph nodes, and my legs have been a little tingly (not sure if I am just being a hypochondriac tho).

I dunno what to do.. ..the STD clinic is all closed for the long weekend.. ..I'm scared and feel crappy.. ..and I have to write a dreaded English paper amidst it all. :cry: Anyway. I'm friggin scared, and feel so stupid for possibly exposing myself to this.. ..so foolishly too. She is out of town for the long weekend, can't get a hold of her to talk or anything.

If it is herpes.. ..I want to know what I can do about it right now. If anyone has any advice on what I can do to ease the symptoms, (if it is herpes), so that I'm not completely sick and useless.. ..I'd really appreciate it.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to get herpes, (or anything), under the tongue? If anyone has had this or knows about it, I'd really appreciate hearing from you..

Remembering back, it was under my tongue that first got really sore (which is somewhat normal from giving face - as I did to her quite a bit). But this was like, a more weird burny stinging.. ..and is still kinda sore. Like certain foods really 'hurt' to eat. Kinda feels like I poured really hot coffee under my tongue, which I don't believe I did. It *looks* pretty normal under there, as far as I can tell (doesn't the underside of ones tongue look friggin wierd anyway?).. ..just worrying I hope.. ..gah..

well it could be herpes, maybe..if it is, there is nothing you can do. Relax though at least until you can see a doctor
