Another Hsv-1 question

Question:
I kissed and recieved oral from somebody who I believe gave me Hsv-1(which I've been diagnosed with) but they dont know if its oral or genital, being that I kissed and recieved oral, if I were to break out, I would break out in both places at the same time right? wouldnt I most definetly have it in both places being that both places had contact?

Answer:
Not necessarily - the odds are better if you were to have an OB - it would be orally - HSV1 prefers the "upper region".

You're gonna kill yourself worrying aren't you? Keep this up and you will force an outbreak - which I did when I was first diagnosed too... sucks to wait... but try not to obsess... OK?

Answer:
The more I think about it, the more I think I've had this for awile. they say that the majority of people have OB's within the first 20 days or so of contact. I'm gonna not worry about this anymore, my (amazing)girlfriend of 2 years is gonna get tested(she has no symptoms at all) and then we'll see how that turns out. I heard that hsv-1 has less shedding time? is this true?. Do you think I should stay on Valtrex everyday? I've been on it since I got tested but I'm not sure I need it. I will however continue 1000mgs of lysine a day because thats just a vitamin. Btw, I have a cold right now as we speak(2nd cold in 2 months) and still no OB. Wouldnt that bring one on?. Thank you so much for your responses.
