i really would like someone to give me input. if you are a virgin and you have never had a sexual encounter - this includes oral sex, rubbing etc... how is it possible to have hsv2 and have outbreaks on your vagina??!!!

please... this sounds really bad but thats all the input i can state and i really would like a response.

and yes - lets say mother does have herpes...hsv 2 - but why would my outbreaks come from the genitals??? -and if you are wondering - never did anything physical or sexual with my parents. ive asked this Q in another forum - and i had one person casually ask if i was engaged in sex with my mother. so if that q has crossed your minds - the answer is no.

yes is the answer to the question - i got positive from a culture test. it was on my labia... could you offer me input?

Do your parents know about your HSV status? If so, do either of them have any idea or input as to how you may have been exposed without your knowledge? Is there any chance you were sexually abused/molested as a young child? Have you ever engaged in mutual masturbation where the other person was touching himself and then touched you - possibly transferring the virus? Any chance you could have used something of your mom's right after she used it (e.g. razor from the shower...you shaved yourself right after she had done the same)? These are just wild guesses...but you can't spontaneously acquire HSV without coming into contact with the virus. It's impossible.

i did share razor blades - yes i do that often. ive done that - i dont know.. as long as i can remember. i mean ive never had my very own razor blade. -you can actually acquire herpes just using razoe blades??
