My ex boyfriend was diagnosed with herpetic whitlow on his finger. He allegedly caught it at the spa. He had a cut on his finger. Is it possible to get it in a steam room? I think it was direct contact of bodily fluids. Anyone ever get it "in the shower" or "in steam room" without doing anything? :?:

Sure, he could have caught it at the spa....depending on what exactly he was doing in the steam room :) You're right to doubt his version of supposed exposure. He got it from someone's mouth or genitals.
