Cheapest effects rack?
Question: What's the cheapest effects board/rack I would be able to find to fit 8 pedals(6 Danelectro, 2 Boss), that would have the ability to supply them all power? Edit:People were confused that I used "rack". When people say pedalboard, I assume multi-effects pedal, so I use rack. Answer: Pedal rack...I had to think about that for a minute...i was saying to myself "why would you put pedals on a rack?" Then I made the assumption that you meant pedal BOARD. Well Beyer, here is the one I am getting very soon and it comes with a free power supply set... http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...base_id/104779 Go for it. Answer: Yes, I looked at that one. The reason I say rack is because pedal board sound like a multi-effects pedal to me. My only bear about that is that ithas no power supply. However, I believe I'll be getting the DanElectro Blues Pack simply because I need those pedals, and the ones I don't need I can switch. Here's how the rig will hopefully end up: Guitar - DanElectro Rack[Daddy O Overdrive, Slap Echo, Chorus, Tremolo, Phaser] - Boss ME-50(Simply for the tuner, expression, and additional effects/delay) - DanElectro Fish & Chips - Amp I'll have the pedals from the blues pack in addition, along with an auto wah, and I plan on possibly swapping in the DanO's randomly during performance, simply because I'm guessing it'd be rather easy. Any suggestions as to that order, or anything of the like? Answer: i though he meant put them on a rack and then have a floorboard that contrals them all like petrucci, and van halen and thousands other here is a pic of some pedals mounted on racks with master floorboards. please explain which you are talking about Answer: The Core One does come with a power supply. Its a free gift from musicians friend. If you need more, buy another daisy chain. If you think you are going to fit something besides a dano mini in a dano board then you are wrong. sorry, but it only holds 5 mini's. You could fit all you have, even the ME-50 in the large Core One. And you've got the ME-50 so I dont see why you'd need the DJ-Blues pedals anyways. --sorry, just my opinions-- Answer: the cheapest ones, if you've already got power supplies are here www.rondomusic.net Answer: Wow, I did not see that it had a powerthig come with it. And I just saw I couldn't fit mini's, which is just dumb. The reason I need more stuff is because the with ME-50, I can only use one effect from each category at a time. I would pretty much just be using that for the few random things listen above. It's a hassle bending down to select distortions. I'll definately have to reconsider my options. Thanks. ------------------------------------- Haha, with a pedalboard that will fit everything, it's about one-hundre bucks less, and I'm getting better versions of all the pedals on the blues set. Thanks for yelling at me. Answer: thesteve....how reliable is rondo music? and the pedal boards are all different sizes, but the same price, is this an error on the website or is that true? Answer: Originally Posted by SoapbarII thesteve....how reliable is rondo music? and the pedal boards are all different sizes, but the same price, is this an error on the website or is that true? well you order through the website, so if the website says it one way, i would think that's how it is. Answer: You need to get your terminology correct. This is an effects rack: This is a pedal board: This is a multi-effects board: You cannot use the terms interchangably. They are all completely different things. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
