just use some plywood. sand it up good, especially round the edges so it won't be digging into your skin as you carry it . I just use a power strip to power mine...it works for me. good luck.

im also working on making my own pedal board. my last one was made out of a cardboard box. didnt quite work so well...my new one will be better.
