Which One Is Better???
Question: Im amp shopping at the moment and I was wondering which of these two amps you thought was better... they are both around the same price... so which one would you buy if you had to buy one of the two??? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...mps?sku=483188 or http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...mps?sku=481959 . Also another question... are all marshalls tube amps??? or do they make solid state ones??? Also... does kustom make a tube amp??? Any help will be great!! Answer: Not all marshalls are tube amps. THe SS ones IMO, are pooey. n I have the Vox, and I really like it. GOod tube sound. But It depends what kind of music you play. Answer: I play about everything but jazz and metal... is the Marshall MG30DFX Combo tube or ss?? Answer: Its SS. I have played that amp, and I would say it is not what you want. The vox will do pretty good metal, and it probably does good jazz too. I would NOT go for that Marshall. IMO the only good marshalls are the expensive ones Answer: Between those two amps, I'd go with the AD30VT. I've never been a fan of the Marshall MG series. There's something about then that I just don't really like. And yes, Kustom does make a couple tube amp models. Answer: I've never like the Marshall MGs either. I personally would either get the Vox AD30VT or a Roland Cube 30. Answer: The roland looks like a good deal also... im assuming its a tube amp. Between the Vox and the Roland which would u get Rainer? Answer: Originally Posted by RelientKFan7 The roland looks like a good deal also... im assuming its a tube amp. You really want a tube amp, save money, get something like a Peavey Classic 30, which is a great tube amp. Answer: Is the vox AD50VT much different from the 30? Answer: Originally Posted by RelientKFan7 Is the vox AD50VT much different from the 30? It's 50W with a 12" speaker vs. 30W with a 10" speaker, Answer: Is that basically the only difference? Answer: Originally Posted by RelientKFan7 Is that basically the only difference? well those two differences are going to lead to differences in sound too. As far as I know, those are the only differences in features, however I'm not 100% familiar with the features of the AD30vt Answer: The only difference is the 50 has a line to send to a cab or something. The 30 doesn't. Answer: Originally Posted by jamforchrist123 The only difference is the 50 has a line to send to a cab or something. The 30 doesn't. ah...the extension speaker out.
