Wait... I'm confused...

Question:
here I could be totaly off, but for some reason I thought that acoustic amp's were supposed to be oen of the best out there. If my assumption is correct, then whats up with this?

If my assumption is correct, then whats up with this? Do you mean the price? Because the company went out of business in the 1980s, the company sorta disappeared. They were never a major seller like Marshall and Fender, and because of the company falling off of the map, they were relatively forgotten.
The Tube 60 is part of the "Collaboration Series" (same as my B-3, except the Tube 60 is for guitar). This series was made after Acoustic was bought out by the Wagner Group. At this point many Acoustic purists see the beginning of the Wagner era as the end of the Acoustic Control Corporation.
I don't know much about the Tube 60 itself. I'll throw this link up on the Acoustic Control Forum I visit and see if I can dig up much if any info. Not many of the guys there followed Acoustic into the "dark days" of Wagner ownership.
