Proud owner of a tube :D
Question: Well i got home today and my new tube amps in , i got a Carvin MTS3202, 100w tube and it's awesome , after playing a solid state for several years this one just blows my mind, i finally know why everyone says 'get a tube', i love it! Answer: Lucky duck. I be broke. Well sorta. I have like 60 bucks. but that ain't enough for a tube amp. Hopefully by Christmas I will have enough money for one. Come visit us over in recordings, or PM me or IM me (AIM: MrGuitarVirtuoso) Case Answer: yea it's awesome. one question though.. are tube amps supposed to be played with standby on? cuz i cant get sound with it off.. and when u power up are u supposed to turn standby on and start playing after 45 seconds or so, and turn it off with standby off then turn it on when ur ready to play? Turn the amp on, then count to 30, then flip the standby switch. Then when powering off, flip the standby switch, count to 30, then turn the amp off.
