Behringer V-Tone
Question: Does anyone know this device? The Behringer V-Tone GDI21? The church I'm playing at occasionally has no room for an amp on the stage. Don't get me wrong, its a huge church, they are just plum out of room. So, I've been forced to go directly into the system with my electric(which sounds like puke). I've tired a few different things, the BD-2, a graphic EQ...to try and get that highend roll-off of an amp, but to no avail. I thought of the V-Tone because its cheap, small, and Behringer has a reputation for reverse engineering products fairly well. Problem is, I can't seem to find it in any store nearby, so I'm forced to get it online if I get it at all. I just need something to run after my guitar to give it that amped sound. I'd probably run the BD-2 in front of it as well. I can't really afford to spend more than 50 bucks, so Line 6 or Tech 21 are out of the question. Any suggestions? It's a copy of one of the pedals produced by Tech-21. From what I hear it is OK but there is better available. It would certainly do in a pinch, but you might be better going for a POD, XT-Live, GT-8, GNX or something like that. John Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
