Slicer effect
Question: I first experienced this lovely effect on the Boss GT-3 I borrowed from my friend. It basically cuts off the guitar signal intermittently (a total cut), like a tremolo on 'roids. Does anyone know where I can get something like this that's not in that Boss multi pedal? I believe most tremolo pedals will do that. The trem effect built into my Line6 will cut the signal off intermittently when turned all the way up. Answer: I don't think most trems will cut it off completly. I know the one on the line6 spider does, but most don't (as far as I know) Somebody on here was looking for the same thing a while ago. I dont' remember what they came up with. Answer: You need a square wave tremolo, and that's all I can tell you. Answer: Yep, square wave tremolo in the FX loop with the depth control maxed out will do exactly that. I like using my LP's switch to get that effect, personally. Answer: I wish I could use my switch to do that on my Soapbar but it doesnt work...
