selling to guitar center
Question: how much do you think guitar center will buy my fbv short board for? im getting a podxt live so i wont need it any more Answer: Originally Posted by ryanxxxx how much do you think guitar center will buy my fbv short board for? im getting a podxt live so i wont need it any more i would suggest looking on eBay to see what the going price is on there. from what i've been told GC doesn't have the greatest "buying used stuff" reputation. if you're going to sell, at least make sure you're getting close to the street price. Answer: Originally Posted by ryanxxxx how much do you think guitar center will buy my fbv short board for? im getting a podxt live so i wont need it any more All I have to say is don't sell to GC. They will completely rip you off. You are much better off selling on eBay, craigslist, or some other place. Yes, it is more effort to do it, but you will get more money for it. Answer: Im liking craigslist these days... no haggling, no bidding, no waiting, and no cut to paypal. Answer: you been selling much on craigslist bill? i know you're in san diego now, so if you throw up something cool or musical, or musically cool let me know. Answer: Typically a music store will give you ¼ what you pay for it new. They will then turn around and sell it for a little more then half. Answer: As an employee...if they want it, they'll basically give you blue book value for it. If the store has lots of Line 6 stuff, they would be more inclined to buy it than if they only had one or two amps and a pod. They won't give you anywhere near what you could get selling it yourself, but if you just want to get rid of it quick or have something you'd like to trade towards, then it might be a decent option (doubt I would ever actually trade anything there). Answer: im gonna try to sell it to ontario music because my freind works there and he said they would give me a good deal im not sure if its worth it but if its not ebay is my next choice Answer: Originally Posted by ryanxxxx im gonna try to sell it to ontario music because my freind works there and he said they would give me a good deal im not sure if its worth it but if its not ebay is my next choice Id throw it on craigslist.org. Its free, no shipping to deal with, and there is a good chance you will get more than a music store. Answer: alright ill try if i dont sell it to ontario ill try craiglist Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
