I need help, it's verry important for me thx!
Question: Please i need help!, i want play worship with my new compressor DBX 160a, but i'm not sure about how plug all my stuffs (bass, compressor and amp) Is it the good way like this: i plug my bass to the input of my compressor, et i plug my amp to the output of my compressor... thx alot guy's! (sorry i don't really speak english, but i try) god bless you I think that you just plug the bass into the input jack of the compressor then run the cable out of the out jack to the amp. Answer: Seing that you don't speak English very well so I decided to make you a picture. It can be hard translating into a differant language. Answer: What sort of amp are you using it with? From the manual: The phone jack accepts a standard TRS 1/4" phone plug for a balanced input source, or a 2-circuit (tip/sleeve) 1/4" phone plug for an unbalanced source. So the 1/4" input can be used with a balanced or unbalanced signal, and the same with the output. The meter is setup to display relative to a +4db signal, but it can be adjusted. The manual (and I would also) suggests running the 160 in an effects loop if the instruments ouput isn't hot enough to drive the input of the 160a.
