What is the various settings people use for each genre of music? I sometimes just lower my gain but boost volume on my amp's distortion and strum chords sometimes (for worship songs). What are settings you guys use for pedals and on amp?

For heavy distortion, I dime the lows, mids at about 7, and highs about 3.
For lighter "crunch" distortion, I put the EQ flat on lows and mids, turn the highs up a bit.

Considering my amp is something that almost no one has, Yamaha T50C, and I change my settings constantly, I'd say I generally like to keep my mids low, and have higher bass settings than treble settings on my distortion channel for my heavier modern rock/hardcore styles. For light to moderate overdrive, I crank the gain on my clean channel, keep a good amount of highs and presence, vary the mids (from 0-5 usually), and I like to keep my master volume pretty high, also.
