Traynor amps?

Question:
I found this amp last night on musiciansfriend.com, it's a 40 watt, 2-8", 2-channel amplifier with chorus, reverb distortion, and two channels. Its capable of driving a stack if you want it to, and get this, its about $150! All the reviews were good, save one, and I was wondering if one of you had an opinion on this amp or had a good alternative. The amp shown on the site isn't what you get, they display a white amp, which I love, but they only have black in stock. If I do buy it, I'll eventually have it recovered in the white tolex, I love that vintage botique look. Well give me your responses please, I'll apreciate the help. Thanks.
Answer:
I know that Traynor amps are very good, serveral people around here have them. But they all have traynor tube amps. to tell you the truth i don;t know that much the solid state ones. What is your budget, and what kind of sound are you shooting for like band that you llike.
ps this should be in amps, but a mod will move it soon enough
Answer:
I know it should be in amps, but I was looking at my friends thread about modding his strat, and decided to see what you guys thought, I'm posting it in amps in a little bit. Sorry.
Answer:

Most amps in general are at least capable of driving a stack.

Answer:
No, I really mean most amps. You can drive a stack with 5 watts. I bet you can do it with just one watt.
Answer:
you can, i have seen a 1 watt amp that will drive a stack

Answer:
A speaker out. But it's quite easy to modify an amp to have a speaker out.
Answer:
Ok, nice discusion, but I want to get back to the basis of this post. Do you have any opinions-alternatives to this amplifier, my budget is about $150, and this is the best that I've found so far considering the free shipping and all.
Answer:
I would venture to say that no one here has played that amp, so we can't really give you any real input. I would say check out harmony-central.com reviews.
Answer:
As a Traynor amp owner, I am quite interested to hear that thing. I love mine, and at that price...it is quite tempting.
Answer:
Ok, because of this discussion I looked up Traynor amps, and am now quite interested in a 40w all-tube amp for about $600ish. Can't remember the name exactly. So how are these amps? I'd much rather take a great sounding, smaller amp, then a 100w piece of trash.
