i was just listening to this pedal on musicians friend and i really like the sound of it. plus its only 15 bucks. any experiences.

I've looked at them...they're very plastic...but, at $15, they seem like one of those "no lose situation" pedals...if it's awesome you can say, "dang and it only cost my $15"...and if it's horrible you can say, "well at least it was only $15"

15 dollars isn't a very big deal at all. What you really have worry about is the price of 9 volt batteries.

I have one, it works, you can get it down to a pretty decent overdrive sound, and it can get loud. for metal I think it would work fine, plenty of gain, or for random noise situations. I'm currently circuit bending mine, so I can get random clicks, beeps, feedback, oscilation...or something.
Basically, if you dont' like the sound, you're out 15 bucks. It's cool to have for a 4th dirt box though.
