Danelecro Or Digitech?

Question:
I guess I will make this a poll. From what i have heard, Danelectros are so-so pedals, and digitech's are WAY overpriced for the quality, what do you guys think?
Answer:
Stay away from both, really. But, some of the Dano's are pretty good value. My Dano EQ is one of the best.
Answer:
Both brands I would try and steer clear of.....though some of the dano pedals are very good others are well, bad. The digitech I just dont like the way they sound and IMO I think there overpriced.
Answer:
i voted Dano...best bang-for-the-buck one trick pony pedals made...of course if you don't like the trick then you're screwed

I'm a Dano fan too. I have the EQ, Compressor and Delay. I have the EQ and Compressor on all the time. I use the delay for certain situations. I think it is better to not to have to depend on effects pedals as much. Some of the great guitar players like Jeff Beck hardly use any at all.
Answer:
Both brands offer a couple of gems. Most of the Dano pedals get great reviews, (with the exception of the Wasabi line). I use a Fabtone, Danecho, and a Fab Distortion from them.
Digitech also has a couple of effects that get great reviews. The Bad Monkey is getting people to sell their Fulltone TS808 clones. Also, the DigiDelay and DigiVerb are getting great reviews. Finally, there's the Whammy Pedal....who's only competitor (under $200) is the Boss Pitch Shifter.
So both have good reputations among those who aren't afraid of digital and mass produced effects.
I vote Dano though, because I don't have any Digitech effects as of yet...
Answer:
I'd really like a Digitech Whammy. Looks very interesting.
Try some Dano, try some Digitech, see what you think.

Answer:
I like Dano's but I have many Digitech pedals and i love em.
Answer:
Yeah, Digitech makes a heck of a Whammy pedal, which must be pretty much industry standard by now.

True... but the person who's undisputably the best at using a Whammy pedal has an 80s one in his rig.
But yeah, the whammy is pretty much the only thing digitech makes that I would ever consider buying over it's BOSS or line6 equivalent. I've always hated digitechs distortions. Even on their amp modeling.

Tom Morello:Whammy :: Peter Frampton:Talk Box
I could probably use a Whammy to mimick the sounds I've heard other people make with it, but probably couldn't do anything creative with it. Which is why I don't own one.
