Question:
I just came home from our town's pawn shop, and I found what I think is two great deals. First, I saw a Digitech Hot Head for 20 bucks. Second I saw a Digitech Blues Drive or whatever for 25 bucks. Are these good deals? Would it be worth it to buy them with what I already have? I play alot of Relient k, Switchfoot, and Kutless.

Generally, Digitech are not even close to the best pedals... But if you can get one for $20 go for it.

that was my thought too. 20 bucks for a 40(?) dollar pedal, pretty good .

I love Digitech. I'm not into their distortions, but the modulation effects and multi fx units rock.

I wouldn't get those pedals...even for 20 bucks a piece. It is a good deal considering how much they sell for new, but there isn't much value in the performance of the pedal. I think you could spend your $40 on something off ebay that's better.
I don't have a very good opinion of digitech either...i've tried their hyper phase, chorus, and compressor. Just wasn't satisfied with the sound they made. In my opinion, very synthetic sound with hardly any transparency.

Ive tried digitech pedals.....there nothing I would want to buy but for 20 bucks I would buy them. (if i had the money floating around, you can always ebay them if you dont like them.)

I used to own the blues drive. It was ok. Nothing real great. Nothing bad. I was new to guitar when I first bought it. I gave it away like 5 years ago.

Not a heck of a lot. Its overdrive, not distortion... Still nice to have on hand. I wish I had something with better drive.

my cuzin has a Digitech Metal Master distortion pedal. it sound really good.

Well, I tried both of them uot, I don't like the hot head(it has no mid what-so-ever), but I really like the Blues drive.
