Hi. I was wondering which foot pedal has more distortion. I've used the Metal Zone so I know from experience that it has ALOT of distortion but my favorite tone is Mesa Boogie and I've heard that the Bottlerocket will emulate a Mesa Boogie tone for those of us who are poor and can't afford a real Mesa Boogie. My concern is that I don't know if the Bottlerocket will have enough distortion. Is it's level of distortion comparible to the Metal Zone? Thanks. Matthew.

its probably better...because the Metal Zone generally isn't a great pedal.
now which is more? i don't know...if all you want is distortion, I'll sell you my Danelectro Grilled Cheese for $25...It's absurdly distorted and will feedback faster than...something really fast.

i agree with ryan the line 6 uber metal pedal is awesome im probably gona get one. my friend has one and its freaking awesome. it has tons of gain!

Those are two completely different pedals. The Metal Zone is a solid state pedal while the Bottlerocket has a built in single tube preamp. I don't know about which would be more overdriven, but I think the Bottlerocket would be much clearer with a good amount of gain. Just my opinion though.
