I have a good problem what should i do?
Question: Sup you all i'm JOHNJUAN i own a marshall MG250DFX amp and I also have a ME-50 muilt-proseccer. what distorstion should i use. Marshall or boss. Please be blunt and true in your response. I a man in need of a hand give my your expert oppinon a million Thanx Answer: Umm... Well, why did you buy the Boss ME-50 if you weren't going to use it? It depends on the sound you want.. Play with both of them and see what you like. Answer: Like Ryan said, it's subjective. That boss has about a million combos you can use, and it all depends on what you're looking to hear. Read the manual and then start playing with the combos and see what you get. Answer: my advice is to send this to the effects forum...which is what i'm going to do. my other advice is to use them both and let your ears decide which is better...they might even sound best when used at the same time. Answer: Given that it's an all solid state marshall, my instinct would be to say the ME-50. Answer: I prefer Boss over Marshall anyday. But if you are willing, go a buy a Jekyl & Hyde. Answer: He didn't say he wanted new equipment, he was asking Boss or Marshall. Answer: Well my equiment was given to me as a gift? so i really didn't have any say on what i wanted, i just got what i got. You have a couple reasons to be thankful. Now, go play your gear and find out how good your stuff really is. Answer: I tend to think amp distortion sounds better than pedal distortion. Answer: Originally Posted by bobthecockroach I tend to think amp distortion sounds better than pedal distortion. i tend to think that's a huge overgeneralization...and that in this case you're comparing the OD channel of a low-end SS amp to that of a low-mid end multieffect...it could really end up being a lose-lose situation Answer: I like cruddy fuzz distortion... Almost as much as I like a high-end tube amp's distortion channel. Almost, but not quite. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
