How interesting... (new product)
Question: It can be debated whether this belongs in guitars or amps even though it is a product made directly for amps... meh. What do you all think about this? http://www.truesoundcontrol.com/products/GRAMMA.html Answer: Amps. I already like the tone of my amp sitting on the ground. Wouldn't this achieve about the same thing as having someone pick up the amp while you're playing it? I wonder what that actually does for tone... Answer: Originally Posted by Rainer. Amps. I wonder what that actually does for tone... i guess it would isolate the cab allowing it to theoretically vibrate more freely. Answer: Which does what for tone? Answer: It's a fancy piece of rubber. A $50 fancy piece of rubber. I think it's garbage. I'll invest that $50 into the actual amp, thank you very much. Answer: Originally Posted by Rainer. Answer: There is on going debate on where to put your amp, on the ground or on a stand. The jury's still out from what I've read as there are pros and cons to each. Me, I use a stand so it is pointed at me. At Creation West, all the amps were on the ground. Answer: I like having it on a stand so it's pointed at me and I have easy access to the controls. Answer: the thing is, this product isn't a tilt stand...it's just a ground isolator. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
