Welcome to www.thanktoday.com !!!

Guess who just picked up a Ibanez AD-9 RI.

Question:
Yeah I just got a AD-9. I love it!
EDIT:
Well I geuss I'll post a review. Okay.
First off the delay time is long enough for what i use it for. I realy dig the tone this thing puts out. I think it self-ocilates too. For 140 dollars I say it's a reasonable price. I took the idea for just having a delay in front of the amp and it sounds amazing! I never liked having alot of pedals. So a delay is all i need(and a stage tunner live). And if i get a new amp, i'd use the footswitch but for now i'll just play on the dirty chanell.
Answer:
This is a little late, but cool stuff. I played with an AD9 about a month ago, and I really liked it. Not sure if I'd buy one, but it could be a consideration for the future.
Answer:
Well it's not God's gift to guitar. It just makes a cool effect.
Answer:
Cool, i will try one when i go to the guitar center tomorrow.
Answer:
How does it compare to the analog simulators like on the line six echopark that everyone is always raving about?
I need to pick up a really great sounding delay, and have been considering one of these since i can't afford a vintage maxon or an EH deluxe memory man. All I want is a really good warm delay, so if i bought something like the line6, all i'd use is the analog mode(s?).
300ms isn't a lot of delay, so if a very good ear can't tell the tonal difference between this and a simulator, i'd probably prefer a simulator anyway.
Answer:
Well I would go with the AD9, mainly becauise it's a real and true analog delay, and it's cheaper than the echo park.
Answer:
Do you know if it has trim pots inside to be able to adjust the max delay time? I know a lot of the truely vintage analog delays do. You can increase the delay time by sacrificing a little quality. the delay time is essentially changed by varying the sampling & playback rate ... it's just analog sampling instead of digital. So the trim pot controls the minimum sample rate / maximum delay time. If this has one of those, that would really be awesome.
Answer:
I think it does. I read somewhere on HC that somebody did that.
