Behringer Amps?

Question:
I'm looking for a loud, multiple input, reasonably priced amp. 250 bucks or less would be nice. Does anyone know anything about the quality of Behringer amps?

Bass or guitar amps?

Answer:
what do you need it for (playing situation) and what do you need the two inputs for?

a y-cable could accomidate multiple inputs....
And as steve asked, what will you be using it for? Music style? Setup (guitar, amp, effects)?
Answer:
I'll use it with my keyboard. The multiple inputs would accomidate more than one of them at the same time, and I want to use it in a screamo band and still be heard.

i don't know what amp you're looking at, but i happen to own a GX112 Blue Devil electric guitar amp. i love it. it's 65w, and has a 12" speaker. it's very versatile, and is built like a rock. it's a few years old, and i've never had even a small problem with it. i used it for a couple years straight, using only the built-in effects. i have been running a POD through it for the last year and a half or so, and either way, it has strong tone. i haven't checked out any of their new stuff, but unless they went down the tubes, they have quality equipment for reasonable prices.
peace,
chris

i played the the behringer V-ampire once (very lame, whoever thought of that one), and i was not impressed. at least to me, anyway, it did not really have a good sound at all. my suggestion is that you use a y-cable, because then that would open up your options a lot more, cause you wouldn't have to be looking at just the amps that have multiple inputs. look at crate. one of my friends has a little one, i think it's the KX15, and it's a very nice little keyboard amp.

I have a Beringher GMX110 V-Tone series. It's 30watt cost $170 but it has two channels clean and distorted, effects built in, a tuner and amp modeling. Very Nice and you can play cd's through it.

hmm... a problem with using a y-cable (or even an amp with multiple inputs) is that you won't be able to use the amp's distortion/effects. You could get by with a keyboard amp (essentially a mini PA), but don't expect your guitar to sound very good through it without some work (amp modeler, distortion pedal?).
What is your price range, and what will your actual guitar chain look like? (guitar -> amp? guitar -> tuner -> distortion pedal -> amp? )
Overall, I havn't been impressed with behringer products at all. I saw a 2x30w one... and sure, it was loud... very loud... but the tone was seriously lacking. Maybe if you play it loud enough, noone will notice....

I'm not even using a guitar. It's just going to be Keyboard->Amp. All the effcts I'll use are on the keyboard. As far as price range: less than 350 bucks would be awesome.

this is good to know. wish you would've put this in the original post.
Behringer sells a $200 120 1x15" 1x5" & tweeter (model KX1200) keyboard amp that looks like it's got some great options
I've also heard very good things about the BX3000T bass head (also $200). you'd have to get a cab to work that sucker though.
I'm guessing you're wanting multiple inputs because you have a higher-end keyboard with stereo outputs...i'm not sure how good the stereo works on these things.

OK. That is good to know. A Behringer should work for you then. For a guitar amp, however, I would definently try before you buy.

Thanks

I bought the KX 1200. It's amazing! I'm in love with it.
