Traynor
Question: So, who has a Traynor amp? I hear they're pretty awesome. Also, what retailers carry them? Answer: I own a YCV40WR. One of the best purchases i've made. That thing sounds darn good for 650$ (I think thats what it cost...) It has a nice Fendery clean channel and the drive channel (from what I hear) is pretty Marshally, but less gain and with some tone characteristics all its own. As far as retailers go, I got mine from a small shop near my church. Owner is a friend so he cut me a pretty good deal. If you want to find a dealer near you, try the yorkville homepage. Answer: one of my friends bought a used traynor from a friend in the church for $300. he said that new it could have probably gone $600-$700. he loves it. i jammed with him once, and he was playing an epiphone g400 through a boss od20 drive zone into the traynor. he had incredible tone! it sounded sooooooo awesome! i want to figure out the model, cause i might get one someday! Answer: Awesome, thanks guys. Answer: Traynors are awesome. I have a YCV40 that I love. However, it doesn't get as much playing time as my '69 Fender Bandmaster Reverb. But then, how many of those are to be found? I'll bring the Traynor out if I need a higher gain channel. I wouldn't mind getting the new YCV50. Answer: I have actually made up my mind to buy their YCV80Q(I think??) amp. Saving for it now. Wonderful, wonderful amp. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
