Selling my DS-1
Question: I have a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal that I don't use anymore due to me getting an effects processor. The pedal costed $60 and the adapter $25. It is in perfect condition. How much should I try to sell it for? Answer: Originally Posted by Caress of Winds I have a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal that I don't use anymore due to me getting an effects processor. Answer: i'm guessing that the adapter would be a standard 9v one. you might want to hang onto that... those can come in handy.. You could try using the adapters and putting a battary in also, so when that happens you won't be screwed. -Nick Answer: Originally Posted by Only Alive Well, he's in Texas, so I assumed... -Nick Indeed. Well look I don't know too many people would would spend more than 40 bucks new for it... Answer: You say you paid 60 for it, does that include the warranty? I bought my DS-1 for 40, but paid an additional 20 for the warranty. If you bought the warranty, and you sell it, be sure you have the paperwork for the warranty. I'd hang on to the adapter. If you were to sell it, I'd try to sell it for 40 or below. Answer: I only paid $30. That was used, but still. That's a lot of money for a pedal that doesn't sound that good stock.
