After talking with PianoMan (thanks buddy) I decided to take my Boss CS-3 compressor back and get the Barber Tone Press. I ordered it today, from Bananas.com. I wanted a quality compressor if I'm going to be using it for awhile. Also, later today I'm ordering the Danelectro Fish & Chips as well.

Good choices. The Barber is supposed to be fantastic, and the Fish and Chips is great for the price.

Too bad you won't have the chance to A/B them together. It'll really help you hear the extreme differences between the two. There really is no comparison. It's like the difference between a Cadillac Escalade and a 10-year old Ford Taurus...

(c'mon, go with ford. the vehicles are actually engineered, unlike GM which slaps parts werever)

Lol, that's not what he meant, but... Anyway, the F&C wasn't as great as I thought. With the compressor, it has so much noise, it's horrible. So, I will only use with without the compressor.
