Effects example settings
Question: I thought of a good idea. I don't know if everyone will catch on, though. Maybe the mods could sticky this thread? If you've ever been messing around with a certain effect's knobs, and hit the perfect positions, and found the sweetest tone or sound ever, post it here. Or if you've been looking for a certain tone or sound, but just can't figure it out, look here. I have one for the Line 6 Echo Park Delay. I use this setting to play U2's song "Bad". Put the little switch on the left to "analog" and the trails switch to "off". Position the "mod" knob around 9 'o Clock The "mix" knob should be around 2 'o Clock Put the "repeat" knob between 1 and 2 'l Clock The type of delay should be "Multi 1" I used the tap tempo for the time, it should be easy to figure out by yourself. Well, there you go! Answer: Originally Posted by Mattlock I thought of a good idea. I don't know if everyone will catch on, though. Maybe the mods could sticky this thread? Perhaps. We'll see how much response it gets. My favorite setting on my wah pedal is "on" (as opposed to "off"). Yep, lots of options there... Answer: Well for some Ace Troubleshooter songs: Gain: about 7 Reverb: about 2 Bass: about 6 Trebel: about 9 Middle: about 4 Keep in mind, I'm using my tube amps overdrive. Which amp you are using would help since every type of amp is different. Answer: Classic thirty. Answer: Peavey? Answer: It's a good idea Matt, but I'm really doubtful it will work. 1. There's so many different effects 2. There so many different amps that sound completely different. 3. The thread is going to get really cluttered, as it has already. -Nick Answer: Originally Posted by Only Alive It's a good idea Matt, but I'm really doubtful it will work. 1. If we were to do it, it would be much more organized to do it in artist forums. However, it wouldn't get much attention there. Answer: Plus, Brent always shows up and gets mad and says that your style of playing controls your sound more than your gear does. As a mod, I wouldn't mid stickying a thread for someone if they asked and I thought it appropriate. -Nick Answer: Can you sticky my blog? What? No? Didn't think so. But this would be a rather hard topic to follow. Answer: If you send a blank email to info@guitartone.net you will become a member of my site, and I have a free audio guide and ebook that shows many different settings.
