Vox Valvetronix Input Jack

Question:
Sorry, two threads in a row. When I was looking for a new amp, I saw in the reviews that a few of the people's input jack fell into the amp. I thought: "Screw that, that will never happen to me". But it has. THREE TIMES. Every time I have to take the whole stinking amp apart and put the input jack screw back on the input. The screws are almost striped now. Sorry, this probably sounds like I am whining. But doews anybody have any ideas of what I could do?

Answer:
Duct tape? Haha, probably not. I had a Valvetronix for a while and never had that problem. Get new screws if you can, maybe put them on tighter.

I have been thinking about that. But I was looking to see if there was any other solution.
Answer:
I've had the Valvetronix AD30 for a bit over a year, and I've had that problem once. I put it on fairly tight, and, thankfully, haven't had that since.
One thing to keep in mind is that the entire jack and nut are plastic. Anything too strenous can break it.

Answer:
If you can solder, you could replace the whole jack with something like this:

Then put a nut and lock washer on the inside of the chassis when you put the jack back in. You can get these at Radio Shack, but you might find a better quality one at a regular electronics store.

This kind of jack is too big to fall inside.
