What effect(s) can get my bass to sound as close as possible to the bass on Closer by NIN?
Answer:
Aside from buying a synth? havn't listened that that song in a LONG time...might go for very round, even, exacting notes. Tone...um...probably get by with a regular bass tone, though a little octave, distortion, and Evlp. Filter might get you a more "synth-like" sound (I can't remember but I'm wanting to say it has a very DX7-sounding bass tone...which would mean a pretty hard attack, might use a pick).
