To Pickup, or not to Pickup
Question: Well, i'm in a position like all of you were in at one time or another, buying yoru first guitar. I'm new to the forum (first post) and am starting to learn/play guitar. My question is concerning installed pickups (please correct me if i use wrong terminology). I bought a guitar with no pickup. I like the idea, and i would like the option of having a pickup, but it was a bit out of my price range. In the future however, is it possible to modifiy my guitar into one with a pickup? I assume you're talking about an acoustic guitar...then yes it is possible, and in fact quite easy to istall a pickup later on. btw, this should probably be posted in the guitar section. Answer: Usually, I generally consider it best to get an acoustic with no regard to electronics, because that can always be installed later on. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
