Arion Pedals
Question: Does anyone know anything about Arion guitar pedals? There only $19.99 in musician's friend. Answer: They make very attractive paperweights on my desk at work... Answer: i hear that one of them is ok (the octave maybe?)...but that the rest of them are "you get what you pay for". that being said, i don't believe in "good" and "bad" pedals, but that pedals will fit in the right context. Answer: There are good ones and bad ones...people into "noise" seem to like the octave and their analog delays. Their original chorus pedal (the SCH-1) is on lots of session guys pedalboards for it's fast leslie effect. I've had two of those, and currently have the SCH-z (well, it's loaned to a friend who won't give it back...); it's not quite the same, but it's close enough, and it was only $20. Answer: Thanks for all your replies I'm getting the Octave. Answer: Originally Posted by Timberwolf Thanks for all your replies I'm getting the Octave. Yeah other then that one and maybe the stage tuner, they really aren't very good. Have fun with your octave. Answer: no! NO! do NOT get the octive i have one (i got it for free) and it should not be named an octive pedal...fart pedal would be a better name. seriously, it's what it did...fart out octives Answer: i own a tubulator and compressor pedal by arion an for the price and to learn how to use effects pedals the arion class is by no means a stick in the mud. my opinion is they are great 1st/2nd pedals. i use the tubulator most of the time in church but for a compressor i moved up the the RT66 pedal with overdrive and compressor. not to say that the compressor was bad or anything it wasn't. i just wanted a real good overdrive and the VS--RT66 fit the bill and had a compressor. good stomping to you! my simple pedalboard: dunlop wah-wah, RT66, arion tubulator, Dano Cry baby (chorus), and a zoom 505 multi effects pedal. Answer: They're like one-use disposable pedals. Use it, then throw it away. Answer: Originally Posted by IceHawk They're like one-use disposable pedals. Use it, then throw it away.
