Wahwah pedals
Question: ok i'm asking for a wahwah for my birthday this year, and i need your oppinions on wahwah's and what performs better or has a better sound. I play mostly on a standard stratocaster if that matters Answer: Usually it comes down to getting a Vox, a Crybaby, or a Morley for the ones in the $100 new range. I personally have a Morley. Answer: ive heard good things about the ibanez weeping crybaby or whatever the name is lol all i knows is its ibanez -Noah Answer: Not the original Crybaby. It's overrated, me thinks. Answer: what are the differences between those wah's? more functions? more possibilities? What has the morley have that the dunlop's crybaby have and etc. Im looking for a wah too ... doesnt need to be very expensive... around 100 will do... Answer: What he said, basically all that i have heard of is vox and crybaby, and i dont' want to settle for them cause there popular. Answer: Really, it's impossible to say which will/would be best for you in particular. I personally love Vox. I've heard other people (very very seasoned musicians and even professionals) state their allegiance to Crybaby wah's. The only REAL advice beyond simply stating what each of us personally prefer would be to check them out yourself. The Crybaby and Vox wahs are obviously extremely similar in function and look, but both have very different sounding vocal sweeps. Mods can be done to the Crybaby to give it a more musical counsing sweep, but to my ears (again, only to my ears), it sounds too harsh in its stock form. The Vox sounds much better to me personally. They also cost about twice as much on eBay - go figure... Answer: Budda, fulltone, area51.... i personally have the area51 drop in kit in a vox 847 shell. I got the fulltone pot and cut some of the rubber stoppers off to get more pedal travel. It is.....Awesome. Best quacking and wah sound...very smooth Answer: Are you willing to go up to $200? How about $500? I just purchased a Wah, and if you wanted to spend more, I could recommend you some higher-end ones that totally impressed me. Answer: whats the difference between a stratocaster and a telecaster? i have a fender squier stratocaster.. Answer: i <3 budda wahs Answer: Morleys are switchless. You just step on it and start using it. It also has a pretty smooth sweep, more akin to a Vox then a Crybaby. Answer: I think the most important thing is to try them both out before you buy one. Answer: What are some wah uses? Besides like solos and things, what eles dose it do? Answer: Originally Posted by smashing guitar What are some wah uses?
