gibson goldtone amps

I've heard they are fabulous sounding amps. One goofy thing (besides the cheapo brass accented looks) about them is they are configured like 40's style amps - the chassis lays in the botom of the cabinet, so the controls are in the back at floor level. IMHO, that was taking the vintage thing a little too far.
I think MF (?) recently had a closeout on the 15 watt non-reverb models. They were marked way down, they may even have some left.

On my trip across the country, we stopped at the Gibson Showcase in Nashville. I played the 30-watter Class A, 2 12"s. It was Niiiice. Way expensive though.
