Behringer AC-112 Vintager
Question: Wow. This is one heck of an amp for around 150 bucks. Part-tube with 60 watts. I've always been skeptical of anything Behringer makes but I couldn't believe how much this amp was when I played it for the first time. Great overdrive. I dont really know about the effects cause I just use the effects on my Boss GT-3, with the distortion from the amp. Has anyone else played this amp? Answer: Originally Posted by shinemdm Wow. Has anyone else played this amp? hmm... never heard of it. reviews looked decent, but if you thought that the behringer was good - try out a vox valvetronix amp Answer: Amen to that. 100x better. Answer: the thing i havent' been able to find out about the vintager is that it says it's "part tube" but it never says which part! Answer: If i'm not mistaken....i think the pre-amp section is tube Answer: actually play a behringer and chose it over the valvetronix, i could get alot more for my money. granted the tone is sweeter on the vox, but behringer let me get more of the stuff i needed for the price and is more user friendly.
