Question:
What the diff between the vox AC30TB and the AC30TBX. i know this are really good amps and i just wanted to know about them
Answer:
I'm guessing that the only difference is one's a head and the other's a combo, if I'm not mistaken.
Answer:
The TB has Celestion G12M speakers, while the TBX has Clestion "Vox Alnico Blue" speakers.

i don't think one is better or worse, they're just different. it's actually not super uncommon to find Vox AC-30s that have been modded with one of each.
Answer:
If memory serves correct, the TBX is like $500 bux more new. The Alnico Blues cost $300 bux each! They are s'posed to be like reissues of the original Bulldog speakers that came in the original AC30's, and are a big part of its unique tonality. A friend of mine had an AC30 reissue with the Greenbacks, then later sold it and got one with the blues. According to him the one with the blues sounds like an original AC30, the other didn't. I guess in answer to your question, if you want an authentic AC30 tone, I think the conventional wisdom is the only way to go is with the blues.
