Replacing fuse?
Question: Long story short, I was playing through my Carvin head while my grandpa was messing around with the electricity and fuse box in our upstairs room. All of the sudden, the head just turned off, and it still won't turn on. I'm not sure if my grandpa's messing with the electricity is a plausible explanation or not, but the only thing I can think is wrong is that the fuse blew. Is this correct? How would I go about replacing it? Answer: i dunno...in my sx200c the fuse isn't user-servicable...(which i really hate)...um i dunno, it's not like i've got a lot to go on... Answer: which amp is it? on alot of guitar amps, replacing the fuse is pretty simple...and if your grandfather did something like kill the circuit breaker while you were playing, a broken fuse can definitely result. That's pretty much exactly what he did. So I guess I was correct in my assumption. It is the MTS3200 head, if that helps any. Answer: http://www.carvin.com/manuals/MTS3200.pdf under "power cord and fuse" there's instruction on fuse replacement. Answer: I always make sure my amp is unplugged when someone is playing with the power just for safety. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
