i was looking the other day and came across the mesa rect-o-verb amp any one ever used one what did you of it and what it cost
second
question is what kind of mesa amp can you get between 750-1100 dollars

Haven't played the rectoverb. But for the second question, you could get a Single Rectifier, a Mark I or II, and I think a rectoverb, but I'm not sure.

first off, you usually don't want to buy an amp just for its brand name...

seriously, check out the harmony-central link i posted above... you'll probably get a much better understanding of the amp and how 'good' it is (although much is opinion...). there are a lot of really good amps... its just finding one that fits your needs and gets the sound you want.

Mark IV is pretty expensive as well I think. More expensive than a rectoverb. Check out a Mark I or II. They're generally cheaper and still have the same general Mark series tone, though there are some differences between each model.
