Discontinued AVT footswitch?
Question: I'm trading my amp in for an AVT tomorrow, but it doesn't have a footswitch. It is an AVT100H, a discontinued model. Does anybody know where I can get one, because I don't see any on the Marshall site or any other dealer. Answer: You can get one made (i do'nt know anyone who makes them but I know it's possible...). Not that complex of a circuit. Answer: I made one for my friend. I think it was a crate. And it only had two buttons. Four dollars at radioshack. If it has more than two it would probly be more complicated. Answer: yeah, if your interested in building your own, i'm sure we could draw up some schematics. i might end up building one for my vox as well. i had intentions of buying one, but, for a much smaller price at radioshack, i should be able to build one. you might also be able to mix and match them from another amp... if its a standard 2button footswitch, they should all pretty much be standard. Answer: Thanks for the help guys, but I decided not to trade amps. The AVT didn't have as heavy of an overdrive as I was hoping. Thanks again! Answer: *whew* good choice.
