Question:
I'm shopping around for an acoustic amp for my new taylor. So I need a way to plug in my Taylor with an expression system (so I need a male XLR input) and also another male XLR input for a mic channel. I found a crate amp that has exactly what I need, but it's $900. That's a little (and by little I mean a lot) out of the range I'm in right now because of my recent guitar purchase.
Can anyone recommend something very similar to the crate amp only slightly cheaper? Or just give me some options, that would be tight.

For just a little bit cheaper, I might look for a used Trace amp. SWR also makes a nice little acoustic amp, but I'm not sure on price.

alot of acoustic amps are expensive. i like genz benz and fender acoustasonic.
you might find a genz benz in a more budget friendly range, but keep in mind you dont need an amp for an acoustic, its designed to go straight into a system, if you can tweak the eq good it will sound great. this works well if you play the same place week in and out
