Which effect makes the best Turkey sound?
Question: In the spirit of Thanksgiving I thought it would be cool to know if there is a "gobble, gobbl" effect for guitar out there. Or if anyone could think of a way to get that sound. Any ideas? Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Give thanks to the only One who is Good! Answer: the closest thing i can think of is the use of a wah wah when you have had around 3042953 cups of starbucks with some fuzz distortion Answer: Maybe a wah combined with a chorus that is set with a very fast rate? Answer: Maybe a chorus with a talkbox and some sort of harmonizer... Answer: I was thinking that maybe some kind of delay, maybe like a reverse delay or somethin, and then quick strums with the strings muted. Actually now that I think about, there is a Hendrix song where he makes like "ghost" notes, I guess. It sounds kinda like a gobble. Anybody else know the song I'm talking about? Answer: why? anyway, if you want to get that kind of sound, get a lot of modulation effects going at once, maybe use a fast chours over a fast phase while using a vibra-peddel Answer: i was thinking about a turkey call, just me though Answer: um. lets see. buy a turkey caller thingy that hunters use. have someone hide under a chair and use it. act like you are playing your guitar. nobody will know the difference. hope no one looks under the chair. Answer: How bout a wah ran through a Danelectro Grilled Cheese with oodles of delay and reverb?
