Quick question

Question:
i have a danelectro fish and chips 7band EQ. i was wondering if i could use and an adapter i have to help save on batteries. the EQ has an input rated at 9V, 300 mA. the adapter is rated 9.6V, 300mA. i was wondering if i could safely run the pedal with this adapter (the plug fits too).
the adapter came from my digitech RP50, and i checked what its input was and it was 9V, 300mA. so... i just thought i'd check and see what you all thought.
thanks,
Tom

Tom Yes you can.

9.6V is what 9V batteries actually start with anyways. So if you use a battery you're really using 9.6V anyways.

And the mA is perfect match.

ONE THING! make sure the polarity matches. (it will work either polarity, but if the wrong one, could damage pedal.)
Answer:
thanks!
i checked the polarities as well, and yes, they match.
Answer:
yeah...alot of 9V pedals actually prefer 9.6V adapters because it gives a little extra juice and thus assists in maintaining signal strength

no prob!

since the polarities match, there should be no problem whatsoever.
